Kathmandu. Currently, the country is under partial influence of a western low-pressure system and local winds. The weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the country including Koshi, Bagmati and Madhes provinces, while the rest of the country is clear. According to the Hydro and Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain with thunder and lightning is occurring at one or two places in Koshi and Madhes provinces.
The division has stated that the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces this afternoon, while the rest of the provinces will be clear. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Koshi and Bagmati provinces and one or two places in Madhes and Gandaki provinces. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous parts of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
Similarly, the weather will remain partly cloudy in Koshi province tonight while the rest of the province will remain clear. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Koshi Province, as well as light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous parts.
Indicating that there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Koshi and Bagmati Provinces and one or two places in Madhes and Gandaki Provinces in the next 24 hours, the Division has requested all concerned to be vigilant as there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous parts of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, which will partially affect daily life, agriculture, health, roads and aviation.
