LIC Nepal’s profit is Rs 140 million, life insurance fund exceeds Rs 100 billion

Kathmandu. Life Insurance Corporation (LIC Nepal) has released its unaudited financial statements for the second quarter of the current fiscal year.

The company has earned a profit of Rs 141.832 crore in the second quarter. The company had earned a profit of Rs 136.625 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

As of the second quarter of the financial year, the company’s disaster fund has Rs 585.25 crore, retained earnings Rs 2.636681 crore and other equity Rs 496.620 crore.

The company’s life insurance fund has Rs 127.279481 thousand as of the review period, while the life insurance fund had Rs 113.465379 thousand in the same period of the previous year.

Similarly, the company’s total insurance fee is Rs 9 billion. The total assets are Rs. 459.942 billion, net insurance premiums are Rs. 9.405.189 billion, share capital is Rs. 2.653.2 billion, earnings per share (EPS) is Rs. 10.69, PE ratio is Rs. 197.83, and net worth per share is Rs. 242.46.
