Kathmandu. LIC Nepal has made public the unaudited financial statements for the third quarter of the current fiscal year.
The company has earned a profit of Rs 236 million in the third quarter. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a profit of Rs 192.4 million. During the review period, the company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 14.389 billion and a net insurance premium of Rs 13.95 billion.
Similarly, the company’s life insurance fund stands at Rs 129.80 billion as of the review period. The company, which has a share capital of Rs 5 billion, has Rs 677.6 million in its disaster fund, Rs 3.37 billion in retained earnings and Rs 398.9 million in other equity.
Similarly, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) is Rs 6.29 paise. The PE ratio is 154.63 and the net worth per share is Rs 198.97.
