LIC Nepal sells nearly 400,000 unallocated shares at Rs 100 per share

Kathmandu. Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Limited (LIC) is going to sell 492,577 unallocated units of right shares through auction from Magh 21.

The minimum price of the said shares has been fixed at Rs 100 per unit. The company has informed through a notice that while submitting an application for the purchase of shares, an application can be made for the purchase of a minimum of 100 units and a maximum of all units.

Any person or organization can submit a confidential sealed bid for the purchase of the said shares on Falgun 5 to the company’s manager Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited, Thamel, Kathmandu or LIC’s Biratnagar, Birgunj, Putalisadak, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Butwal, Surkhet and Dhangadhi branch offices.

The company has opened the sale of 23.468 million units of right shares at a rate of 88.45 percent for shareholders existing as of Kartik 9 from Mangsir 12 to Poush 17 was.

29,295,423 shares were distributed to 11,468 people who duly applied during the sale period. After this distribution, the remaining shares are now going to be sold through auction.
