Kathmandu. The Joint Trade Union of Civil Servants’ Organizations has submitted a memorandum to the State Administration and Good Governance Committee with 11-point demands. On Friday, at Singha Durbar, they submitted a memorandum to Committee Chairman Ramhari Khatiwada, demanding the immediate introduction of the Federal Civil Service Act, addressing the basic demands of the employees.
Receiving the memorandum, Chairman Khatiwada said that the state’s resources and means He expressed his commitment to enacting laws to regulate the benefits of employees.
He said that employees have a significant role in the current system and the constitution-making, and expressed his belief that their protection will play an even more important role. He also assured that he would do whatever he could for the benefit of the employees.
Civil servants have demanded that various service facilities, including the provision of a national-level trade union and an official trade union, be included in the bill.
