Kathmandu. Janata Samajwadi Party MP Ashok Rai has said that the federal democratic republic should be further institutionalized by correcting the weaknesses in the constitution. Expressing his party’s views in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, he expressed confidence that the government would be successful in addressing the voice of the people.
Noting that an understanding between the ruling party and the opposition is necessary to make the parliament more effective, he said that the session of the federal parliament that began today should be made constructive. He drew the government’s attention to the use of force by the local police administration in the dispute over the Pathibhara cable car.
