Kathmandu. CPN(UML) lawmaker Krishna Gopal Shrestha has urged the teachers not to back down from the agreement reached with the government. He said this while addressing a program organized on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Hirak Jayanti of Nepal Adarsha Secondary School in Kathmandu on Friday.
Stating that the teachers have reached an agreement with the government through a long agitation, he said that although the agreements reached time and again have not been implemented, emphasis should be laid on implementing the agreements reached now.
He said that he would extend full support to address the demands of the teachers.
Lawmaker Shrestha said, “The teachers have reached an agreement with the government through a long movement. He has repeatedly agreed. Not applicable. Don’t leave this time. This time he has agreed with Gajjab. Work to accomplish what you have achieved. As a former education minister and people’s representative, they will get full support here. As a public representative of the ruling party, I have said that I am with the Education Minister of the present government. Rights should not be asked for, they should be taken away. ’
He said that the rights should not be asked for.
