The Pashupati Area Development Fund has informed that arrangements have been made for easy darshan at the temple since morning for the devotees who have come to offer prayers on Sawan Monday and those who have set out on the Bolbam Yatra.
Security, volunteer mobilization, darshan management, health camps, drinking water, etc. have been arranged for the devotees.
Since the month of Sawan and Monday are the months and days of Lord Shiva, many devotees throng the Pashupatinath Temple on this occasion. It gets crowded. In Shrawan, devotees who travel from Sundarijal to Pashupatinath Temple to offer water by making a pilgrimage are also in a rush.
Similarly, today in the Kathmandu Valley, including Pashupatinath, Gokarneshwor, Santaneshwor, Doleshwor, Kirateshwor, Bhaleshwor, Sanga in Kavrepalanchok, Devghat in Tanahun, Galeshwor in Myagdi and other Shiva temples, devotees are bathing and worshiping Mahadev since morning.
