Landslide blocks Rapti highway

Dang. The Dang-Sallyan section of rapti highway has been obstructed. The road has been completely blocked due to landslide at Chorkhola of Kapurkot rural municipality-3 of Sallyan.

According to Keshar Neupane, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Salyan, the road has been blocked due to landslide this morning. Efforts are underway to remove the landslide using excavators.

Passengers and vehicles have been stopped due to the road blockade. Police have urged small vehicles to use the alternative routes of Kapurkot-Lamidanda and Kapurkot-Pakhapani-Satbas.
