Kathmandu. The government is going to organize labor fairs in all the provinces next year. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, while presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, said labour fairs would be organized in all the provinces next year.
According to him, all Nepalis will be brought under the ambit of social security. According to him, all the workers of the private sector will be included in the social security fund. Stating that Rs 109 billion has been allocated for all types of allowances, he announced to launch an employment portal in the upcoming fiscal year’s budget.
He said more bilateral labour agreements and more agreements would be signed to ensure the workplace safety of women, adding that the government would take steps to ensure the safety and ease of women going for foreign employment.
