Kathmandu. Banks and financial institutions have invested a total of Rs 174 billion 188.6 million in Koshi Province. According to the ‘Economic and Financial Condition of Koshi Province: Brief Description’ released by the Nepal Rastra Bank on Sunday, banks have invested in 5 regions of Koshi Province in 2080/81.
According to the brief description released by the Nepal Rastra Bank, banks and financial institutions have invested the most in the agriculture sector. Banks and financial institutions have invested Rs 95.25 billion 5.3 million in Koshi Province.
Similarly, banks and financial institutions have invested Rs 68.22 billion 2.6 million in the small and medium industries sector of Koshi Province, while the data shows that they have invested Rs 10.39 billion 3.5 million in the tourism sector and Rs 317.1 million in the energy sector.
