Bhojpur. The blacktop of the Khongtang-Cholanti-Khawa-Panchdhar road has been started. The blacktop has been started from the zero point of the Mid-Hill Highway. The Local Infrastructure Development Project Office has stated that the blacktop has been started from the zero point of the first section of about 25 kilometers of this road section at a cost of 26.171 million 631.
‘We have started the blacktop work from the zero point of the Khongtang-Cholanti-Khawa-Panchdhar road section,’ said Temkemaiyung Rural Municipality Chairman Saroj Basnet. ‘Out of about 25 kilometers of this road, one and a half kilometers will be blacktopped.’
Upgrading work is also underway on the second section of the same road from the bottom of Hunge village to Panchdhar. Chairman Basnet informed that the road division office is upgrading the road here at a total cost of Rs 2.5 million, including Rs 20 million from the Road Division Office and Rs 2.5 million from the Koshi Province Government.
