Kathmandu. President of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, Ramhari Khatiwada, has said that he was attacked while formulating the nizamati law. He said this while speaking at a meeting of the committee on Wednesday. He said the lawmakers had to take statements and face humiliation while drafting the bill.
He said that believing that it was the same was an act of in the middle, adding that it was a serious crime and unforgivable. Stating that he was ready to face any punishment if his mistake was proved after the investigation, he said that he did not come to politics with the help of anyone.
Stating that he was the son of a martyr and did not become an MP by donating donations, he said, “We have to face so many statements, difficulties and humiliation. We do the work of taking us as we are, and making us cry in the middle. This is a serious crime, an unforgivable crime. We want to request the Speaker for an inquiry. Ramhari Khatiwada is ready to face any punishment if there is a mistake after the investigation. I am ready to face any punishment if I see my mistake. ‘
“Apart from the opinion of the committee, nothing has been added except after resigning and other government. I have not entered politics at anyone’s point of view. I have been elected. Not once, but more than that. My father did not come as a martyr, nor did I come with donations. I have come to politics with sorrow. I’m not even a person who walks around like I’m playing carembod. I stand firm with integrity and dignity. Law-making is very important. I know, but I’ve been attacked. It has been hit,” he said.
He said that on July 15, he snatched the logo of his parliament and attacked him.
