Sankhuwasabha. The Khandbari-Kimathanka road in Sankhuwasabha along the Koshi Highway has been blocked due to a dry landslide. This morning, a landslide occurred in the Dhig Dandakhand between Hatiya and Hungung in Bhotkhola, informed Bhotkhola Rural Municipality Chairman Bangachedar Bhote. According to him, the road was blocked after a rock fell.
The landslide occurred at a location 109 kilometers from the headquarters Khandbari. Vehicles coming to and from Khandbari in Bhotkhola have also been stranded on the road after the landslide. The landslide has buried about 30 meters of the road.
