Karnali. In terms of age, Sushma Hamal is just 17 years old. Despite being a young age, she is less than a mature young man in terms of ability and faith. Hailing from Sanpuli village of Tila rural municipality-4, Jumla, he is currently studying in class 11 at Saraswati Technical Secondary School.
Sushma’s family, financial and educational condition is very weak. Sushma’s mother Kamala Shahi does not know much except to write her name after studying adult education. He does not have time to understand both their progress and misery in government schools when they are not allowed to rise above the daily food routine of fairs and children.
Sushma’s father Khadga Bahadur Hamal, who goes to Kalapahar every year to work as a labourer, does not have more than a normal writing. There is no grain growing in the house for three months. His family is forced to join hands with the money earned by cutting ballast or carrying sand. He has been taking care of his siblings, including his father Kalapahar (India) and mother Sushma. Khadga Bahadur Kalapahar has not returned home for almost a year.
Born as a child of a lower-class family, Sushma’s thinking and dreams are of a high standard, but sometimes there is a huge shortage of money to buy copies, books and pens. At school, she presents different opinions and proposals among her friends. Sushma, who has a slightly true nature, has become a topic of discussion on social media at this time. In this, the ‘Karnali Daughter Conference’ organized by Shree Jyoti Foundation in Birendranagar, Surkhet from May 27 to 29 became an important occasion.
In the conference, she presented her solo play in Khas language. For the first time without any preparation, she impressed the audience in a moment with a solo play. Chief Minister of Karnali Province Yamlal Kandel, ministers, state assembly members and other dignitaries were present in the audience.
On reaching the stage, she said in Khas language, “Who was the daughter of Igai Karnali with Khas language and listening to the poor? Koinai, napa napa (a little) sundiya puni bhundini koi nai. Not only did I want to cry from this, but i wanted to cry seeing Karnali and my own situation. However, she gave the participants of the conference the energy that if possible, we can’t fly, we can’t run, we can’t walk, we can’t walk, never lose in life, but try, one day we will reach the goal point.
On the stage, Sushma took a dig at various rights including fundamental rights provided by the Constitution of Nepal, the efficiency and style of the people’s representatives working in the three tiers of government formed in accordance with the federal structure, the role of teacher educators and the political system of the whole of Nepal. She also raised the question of the poor justice delivery of the vice-chairpersons of the municipalities, who have been working as coordinators of the judicial committee, and some of them themselves have been wronged.
Sushma’s statement was that due to the responsibility and responsibility of the heads of the government, the working style of those working in different bodies, children, women, senior citizens, people with disabilities and the entire citizen of the society are suffering today. The performance of the girl, who had reached birendranagar, the capital of Surkhet, for the first time from the village, surprised everyone.
Sushma, who was standing on the dais, confidently said, “Speeches do not make the country, we have to work with good intentions.” Caste discrimination has not ended to this day. Those sitting in the chair have been insulting the citizens. Although the agriculture sector has been kept in the policy, program and budget, the implementation is not effective. ’
His expression and acting was no less than the actors who have shown their abilities at the national level and have gained enough experience. Sushma’s artistic presentation conveyed the message that poverty and remoteness cannot prevent the mobility of any capable and talented people and conveyed the message that in the era of information, communication and technology, everyone is of great interest in making themselves creative and positive.
He suggested that the parties should now focus on results and implementation-oriented development as it is like a mantra to chant the declarations, resolutions and commitments of the parties. According to Sushma, those seeking rights should also perform their duties. Although she does not have a voice, she has the intention of recording songs in the future and becoming deuda singer, she said that she will work for the welfare of the poor and needy and will continue to speak against corruption, irregularities, distortions and evils prevalent in the society.
Man Bahadur Singh Hamal, principal of Saraswati Technical Secondary School, said that it was different from other students. “Sushma swaraj is very curious and curious. She is particularly concerned with various issues of the society. He has a good art of understanding and speaking society. He is more interested in composing songs, poems and singing deuda. If he continues to do so, he has the potential to become a good artist of the nation. ’
Sushma said she could not do what she wanted as her family’s financial condition was weak. He said, “My mother is more sad when my father is not at home most of the time. We lack the money to meet basic needs like food, clothes, copies, books, pens etc. With the same grief and struggle, I will embark on the journey of building my beautiful future within the need. ’
