Bagmati. The Kantilokpath road connecting Hetauda and Kathmandu has come into operation. The road was obstructed after the bagmati rivulet at Bhimphedi rural municipality-8 in Makawanpur was washed away by floods triggered by rain.
Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Makawanpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal, said that the vehicles have come into operation since this morning after the diversion was repaired.
Vehicular movement has been operating by making diversions after the flood in bagmati rivulet due to rain from October 10 to 17 washed away the Bailey Bridge access road of Baguwa bridge along the road section.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyamu Aryal said that the landslide was removed after a dry landslide with stones fell on the road at Bharyangdanda of Bhimphedi rural municipality-8 in Makawanpur on Thursday morning.
