Jumla. The District Transport Management Office has collected more than Rs 6.7 million in revenue in the first six months of the current fiscal year 2081/82. Acting Office Chief Lok Bahadur Mahat informed that the office collected Rs 6.744 million in revenue from Shrawan to Poush of the current fiscal year 2081/82 from new vehicle registration, renewal and distribution of driving licenses.
According to Acting Office Chief Mahat, in the six months of the current fiscal year, Rs 1 million 42 thousand have been collected from the income of the transport sector, Rs 3 million 35 thousand from driver’s license, vehicle registration book (blue book) fees and Rs 2.66 million from vehicle tax.
Similarly, Acting Office Chief Mahat said that 113 vehicles have been registered in the same period of the current fiscal year until mid-Poush. The Transport Management Office has stated that 3,233 vehicles, including private and government vehicles, have been registered since the establishment of the office.
