Kathmandu. Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut has said that they have moved forward in the journey of paperless courts. He said this while inaugurating the online system for sending notices of hearings from the Supreme Court to the offices of the Chief Advocates in all seven provinces and the online system for registering and managing special nature applications of district courts at the Supreme Court held on Tuesday.
He asked whether lawyers, judges, and legal practitioners are ready to move forward in the journey of paperless courts. He asserted that if it is delayed even now, judicial reform will not be possible again. He said that judicial reforms must be made and there are many bases and means for judicial reforms. He informed that justice can also be improved through technology. He said that technology will help make it sustainable, transparent and reliable and will also eliminate irregularities, distortions and inconsistencies.
Chief Justice Raut said that judicial reforms must be carried out at all costs.
