Kathmandu. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has accused of spreading false rumors about the economy. Minister Poudel said that there is no truth in the language that the bank has collapsed, the economy has collapsed.
Conducting a press conference at the Ministry of Finance on Sunday, Minister Poudel claimed that both the bank and the economy will not collapse. He said, “Some people are spreading rumors saying that the bank will collapse and the economy will collapse, all these are baseless issues. The economy is returning to normal, banks will not be allowed to collapse, there may be problems in some, but appropriate management will be done.”
He said that negative rumors should not be spread about banks and financial institutions. Minister Poudel said that many aspects of the economy were weak before he became the Finance Minister and many aspects have become stronger after he became the Finance Minister. Recalling that one minister was responsible for making the budget, another for making speeches, and another for implementing it, Minister Poudel said that he had done a lot of reform work.
Minister Poudel said that laws have been amended to boost the morale of the private sector. Minister Poudel said, “After the government brought the ordinance, the Prime Minister took his time, all the private sector associations thanked the Prime Minister, and even praised him for doing work that had not been done for many years.”
Minister Poudel said that this is the basis for measuring the morale of the private sector. Minister Poudel said that the Ministry of Finance has not tampered with any data. Minister Poudel claims that there is no cheating in the data that has been made public to everyone.
Minister Poudel said that the payments to construction professionals have been made thanks to the great efforts of the Ministry of Finance. He said, “We have worked hard to pay the construction professionals, and any application submitted by the construction professionals for payment will be paid immediately.”
