Kathmandu. The Nepal National Civil Servants Organization has warned that it will launch a strong protest if the Federal Civil Service Act is introduced, ignoring the minimum basic demands of the employees. On Friday, in Kathmandu, the organization’s president, Ambadatta Bhatta, warned that it will not tolerate the introduction of the act or its delay on various pretexts, ignoring the minimum basic demands of the employees.

He warned that their protest would continue until the act is issued. He said that they have been protesting for the past 10 years and now they will change the form of the protest and take a break from the protest only after the act is issued.

The organization’s president, Bhatta, said that the bill along with the demands raised by them should be submitted to the State Administration and Good Governance Committee by Baisakh 11 and passed in the upcoming session of Parliament. He warned that if the government does not respect the basic issues and feelings of the employees, the government itself will be responsible for the situation that will arise.

He insisted that their demands are not burdensome to the state but are of long-term importance. He said that they are conscious citizens who have passed the public service examination and maintained that the demands were made at the expense of serving the people and the state of the nation. The organization has warned that if the bill is not presented in the parliamentary committee by April 11, they will be forced to launch an agitation.
