It is important to make maximum use of talent: Prime Minister Oli

Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that it is necessary to make maximum use of talent. He said this while honoring 10 personalities from different fields with the Prime Minister’s National Talent Award.

He stressed that everyone has talent, but how much of it is important is who uses it. The government had announced on the occasion of National Democracy Day 2081 to award talented individuals who have made significant contributions to the fields of peace, good governance, innovation, scientific discovery, research and development.

Along with Prime Minister Oli, First Lady Radhika Shakya, Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakash Man Singh honored them. Prime Minister Oli said that heights are never reached and everyone should keep on reaching new heights. He informed that one should not be satisfied with the achievements.

The awardees are Dr. Tshiring Lama (Sindhupalchowk) for telemedicine, Dr. Biraj Singh Thapa (Morang) for science and technology innovation, record-breaking mountaineer Purnima Shrestha (Gorkha), Dr. Abhas Maskey (Kathmandu) and Hariram Shrestha (Gorkha) for science and technology.

Similarly, Dr. Ommurthy Anil (Mahottari) for medicine, Savitra Bhandari Samba (Lamjung) for sports, Rabindra Puri (Bhaktapur) for heritage conservation, Dilshobha Shrestha (Kathmandu) and Ramji Adhikari (Gorkha) for social service have been awarded. .
