Kathmandu. The International Scout Volunteer Group and Shanghai Haixian Media Group are set to start working together to create jobs in Nepal. On Wednesday, the two organizations signed an agreement in Kathmandu to work together to end the unemployment problem in Nepal.

Since linguistic knowledge is the first and foremost important factor in creating employment opportunities, the two organizations have agreed to teach Chinese in Nepal and take initiatives to create employment opportunities in the Chinese market.

Ajit Khadka, President of ISVG International Scout Volunteer Group Nepal, said that they have agreed to work according to the plan from 2025 to 2028. He informed that capacity building work for young women in Nepal will be carried out as per the plan.

He informed that after the project is approved by the Social Welfare Council and the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, the work will be started at the required places.

He said, ‘We are doing these works in collaboration with the International Scout Volunteer Group and Shanghai Haixian Media Group. We currently have a comprehensive plan from 2025 to 2028. According to this comprehensive plan, we are doing capacity building work for young women in Nepal. In particular, we will do knowledge, skills and life-useful work that we know. We are doing our friendly work between Nepal and China. We work to exchange the cultures of both countries in Nepal and China.’

‘First, in Nepal, Araniko went to China and did all his work. Balabahu also worked. Even now, there is a statue of Balabahu in Beijing. Nepalis do not have to pay money for that statue. China has done a lot of work in Nepal. Now, what we want to do is not how to provide employment to the unemployed in Nepal, but rather to promote the language, to promote the Chinese language in Nepal, since language is the biggest thing in the world, we have organized this program,’ he said.

He added, ‘Now we will go to different places, we will submit the projects to the Social Welfare Council and the Ministry of Social Welfare, especially for this approval. After we submit the projects and get them approved, we will go to different places for inspection. Wherever the need arises. We work in that place.’

According to him, the two organizations have agreed to move forward by collaborating to advance various schemes in the coming days to overcome Nepal’s employment problem.
