More than 60 fighter jets hit dozens of military targets on Thursday night, the military said.
“Among the targets were sites that produce missile components and facilities to manufacture raw materials used in casting missile engines,” the military said.
Israel launched air strikes against its arch-enemy a week ago, claiming iran was on the verge of developing nuclear weapons. Deadly attacks have started from both sides after the attack.
European foreign ministers will hold talks with their Iranian counterparts on Friday in hopes of reaching a diplomatic solution to the war, while U.S. President Donald Trump has considered the possibility of U.S. involvement.
