Kathmandu. Stock investors have demanded that the application process in the initial public offering (IPO) should be made smooth, transparent and effective.

Stock Investors Association, Nepal Capital Market Investors Association and Independent Capital Market Investors Association jointly submitted a four-point memorandum to the Central Deposit System and Clearing (CDSC) today.

The memorandum has demanded to make the application process for the IPO more smooth, transparent and effective.

Congratulating the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DSC Prabin Pandak, representatives of stock investors’ organizations have submitted a memorandum suggesting to serve the far-flung investors through mobile apps, online systems and increasing digital literacy.

Similarly, stock investors will shorten the deadline in the clearing and settlement process, create an effective helpdesk or portal to listen to and resolve the grievances of the investors and such programs will increase the confidence of investors in the capital market and strengthen the entire system.

Under the successful leadership of CEO Pandak, the cdsc’s progress will be stronger, reliable and internationally competitive.
