Kathmandu. Now, while constructing houses in urban areas, it has to be mandatory to pass the map. According to the Economic Reform Implementation Action Plan 2082 released by the Ministry of Finance, from now on, homeowners who want to get a map certificate will have to insure their house.

According to the ministry’s new arrangement, the amount paid insurance premium will cut the pricing of taxable assets, which will provide financial relief to homeowners. In addition, it is expected to increase the business of non-life insurance companies.

Similarly, the Ministry has decided to issue infrastructure bonds for insurance companies. According to this arrangement, insurance companies can invest in high-return projects.

The ministry has said that this provision will be implemented for one year initially. Similarly, the Government of Nepal has prepared an action plan to strengthen the Health Insurance Fund.

In the economic reform implementation action plan prepared by the government, the policy has been taken to strengthen the health insurance fund. For this, the government has taken a policy to deposit health tax on tobacco, cigarettes and alcohol in the insurance fund to address the increasing burden of health insurance.

Similarly, the government is planning to review the premium amount of health insurance and integrate various schemes related to health insurance and invest the amount collected as premium in high-return sectors.

The government has set a deadline to complete the implementation of these works related to health insurance within one year.
