Due to regular monitoring and surveillance of excise duty-paying establishments, excise duty has increased by 43.79 percent in the eight months of the current fiscal year compared to the same period last year, said Chief Tax Officer Kafle. The office is continuously monitoring and monitoring the market to achieve the revenue collection target. He also said that legal action has been taken, including freezing the bank accounts of taxpayers with tax arrears and confiscating their land.
