He suggested that entrepreneurs focus on promoting and expanding the proper market for Nepali tea.

Aditya Parajuli, Chairman of the Provincial Tea Coordination Committee, said that 6 billion rupees of foreign exchange is coming into the country annually from tea exports. The Indian government is currently making a policy arrangement to import Nepali tea only through mandatory Indian auctions (auction process), and Prime Minister Oli was drawn to the issue of how this will harm Nepali industry.

These organizations have made demands to the Prime Minister, including the operation of an auction center in Nepal, the immediate provision of export subsidies for Nepali tea, and the provision of easy electricity supply and tariff arrangements in the tea garden area.
