Kathmandu. Indian Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan, along with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Vaast and distinguished guests visited Chandragiri Hills. They visited Chandragiri Hills on Chaitra 28.
Minister Chauhan and distinguished guests were welcomed by Chandragiri Hills Chairman Hemraj Dhakal and Chief Executive Officer Arun Pradhan. During the visit, Minister Chauhan praised Chandragiri Hills for becoming an excellent destination for tourists.
The tour group including Minister Chauhan said that riding the cable car while seeing the lush green hills, cool and calm weather, and the panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley was a very memorable experience. During the visit, Minister Chauhan performed special pujas with his family at the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple located in Chandragiri, which holds historical and religious significance. He described the spiritual experience as peaceful and a vivid memory.
Minister Chauhan said that Chandragiri Hills, with its picturesque scenery, peaceful environment and religious significance, is an excellent destination for tourism. Minister Chauhan also mentioned that the environment, culture and natural beauty here will attract everyone.
The Chandragiri Hills management has expressed confidence that the visit of Indian Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Chauhan will have a further positive impact on the promotion of religious tourism, including overall tourism in Nepal.
