Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Chief Whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire has said that the policies and programs presented by the government for the upcoming fiscal year are challenging to implement due to financial constraints. Talking to media persons at the Parliament Building Complex, New Baneshwor on Monday, Chief Whip Ghimire said that some policies and programs are not feasible to implement.
He said that he doubts that the policies and programs brought by the government will be fully implemented due to the economic problems. Chief Whip Ghimire said that although the policies and programs are good overall based on the suggestions given by the Economic Reforms and Suggestions Commission, it is challenging to implement them.
He said, “The policies and programs have also well incorporated the suggestions given by the Economic Reforms and Suggestions Commission. Overall, these policies and programs are good. But the biggest thing is the challenge.” The policies and programs that came before this would have been good. We do not have sufficient financial resources to implement them. Because of this, we have seen that policies and programs are not relevant or are not in a position to be implemented in some cases. Therefore, it is more than a challenge to implement this.’
He said that how to meet the challenge of implementing policies and programs is a serious question for the government.
