Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chair Rajendra Prasad Lingden has called upon all to stay in Kathmandu for at least a week and be prepared for the agitation. He made the call while addressing a program organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Since May 15, the royalists have announced to continue the agitation until the restoration of the monarchy and the establishment of a Hindu nation. He said that if the government moves ahead with the intention of correcting the repression and obstructing the program, then it would be necessary to retaliate.
He warned that if the government obstructs the movement, he will not sit with curd in his hand. He urged the people to prepare with the idea that they should stay in Kathmandu for at least a week as the movement of May 15 is the main movement.
Chairman Lingden said, “The movements we had made earlier were the movements for the construction of the path of the main movement. Tomorrow’s movement is the main movement. Tomorrow is just the beginning. Our movement will continue. Do not arrange bus and plane tickets for friends who have come from outside to return tomorrow evening. Thinking that you should stay in Kathmandu for at least a week, stay here with preparation. We are careful not to face any inconvenience while staying. ’
Chairman Lingden said that the demonstration on May 15 would be completely peaceful and one should be aware of the possible infiltration in the protest. Stating that the government and the mechanisms run by the government could be active to make the agitation violent, he urged them to remain alert.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s statement was like a speech of panic when he lost.
