If my employees don’t get paid in a week, I’ll bury them all in a coffin – Balen

Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah has said that if the employees of the Metropolitan City do not receive their salaries within a week, they will be given a car in Tukucha.

Writing a status on the social network Facebook on Monday, Balen also hinted at a movement in favor of the monarchy. He wrote on Facebook, “The sanitation employees of Kathmandu Metropolitan City have not received their salaries for the past 3 months, due to the arrogance of the government! I don’t know who will start what kind of movement, if our employees do not receive their salaries in the next week, I will bury everyone in Tukucha! After that, we will see what kind of system you all have!!”

The Chief Executive Officer of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balen, sent by the central government, has not allowed him to appear. He is demanding a new chief executive.
