Kathmandu: Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has said that the CPN-UML was moving ahead with the issues of nation, nationality and people. Responding to a question from media persons after announcing the decisions of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, government spokesperson Gurung said that they are the party’s leaders who carry the issues of the people instead of eating jhol.
Stating that he had come to the present situation with a bag of demands and issues raised by the CPN-UML, he said the UML should be proud of being the party’s leader as it was carrying the party’s policy principles and flag. Stating that the UML has the principle of nationalism in its bag, he said social and economic transformation cannot take place without good governance.
Minister Gurung said, “Those who eat jhol are also called jhole and those who carry bags are also called jhole. We don’t mean we eat.
