Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives has begun. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel is scheduled to reply after discussing the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill in today’s meeting.
Lawmaker Surya Bahadur Thapa Chhetri demanded relief to the family of Chitra Bahadur KC, who was electrocuted to death at The Martyrs Memorial Park in Pyuthan on May 15. He also demanded that adequate budget should be provided for the Martyrs Memorial Park established in different parts of the country.
Lawmaker Ram Kumar Rai raised the issue of the death of a youth from Khotang in Gokarneshwor on May 15 and demanded action against the culprits involved in the incident. Lawmaker Rajendra Prasad Lingden demanded the release of leaders and cadres of Rastriya Prajatantra Party including Rabindra Mishra, who have been detained for nearly two months.
