Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives has been adjourned till Sunday. According to a notice issued by Padma Prasad Pandey, general secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the meeting was adjourned till 1 pm on Sunday as no agreement was reached to run the meeting.
In today’s meeting, the opposition parties decided to keep the three-point demand, including the resignation of the Home Minister in the visit visa case, intact.
A meeting of the main opposition CPN (Maoist Centre) and opposition parties Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSSP) and CPN (Unified Socialist) held at the Parliament House, Singha Durbar today, decided to uphold the earlier decision not to allow the meeting to continue until home minister Ramesh Lekhak’s resignation in the visit visa case. Speaker Ghimire has scheduled the next meeting on Sunday.
