Hotel Bandipur Hill in final stages, preparations to be launched from Jestha

Tanahun. The five-star hotel Bandipur Hill under construction in Bandipur has reached the final stage. The seventeen-story hotel, named Queen Tower, is being prepared to be put into operation from the coming month of Jestha. From the hotel under construction in Baralthok, Bandipur-4, you can enjoy the panoramic views of the mountain range from Machhapuchhre to Langtang and other scenic spots. Similarly, you can see the market area, which is said to be a unique and interesting experience for tourists.

Romanman Shrestha, General Manager of Bandipur Hill, informed that Bandipur Hill is going to develop as a destination for adventure sports including rafting, rock climbing, zipline sky cycling as a package. According to him, this hotel will have 80 rooms. The project has already invested Rs 3.83 billion in the lower station. It is said that about 433 crores of the total cost of the project has been completed.

‘In addition to adventure sports, tourists visiting Bandipur can visit the Khadga Devi Temple, and they will be able to have a unique experience,’ said General Manager Shrestha. ‘Along with sericulture and beekeeping, Bandipur Hill is being made a model for community development, including sericulture and beekeeping.’

The lower station of the cable car at Thuldhunga, Bandipur-4, has a beautiful garden with a hotel on an area of 80 ropanis, which is located next to the Prithviraj Marg road. The 1,616-meter-long cable car will cross in about seven minutes. During the cable car journey, you can feel like you are flying towards the sky at an angle of 90 degrees while going from the lower station to the upper station. In the first year of the cable car operation, the company’s special offer allows travel for 500.

On other days, 800 to 900 people and on holidays, 1,000 to 1,200 people travel by cable car. Currently, 120 employees are working at Bandipur Hill. This project is considered the pride of Nepal. It has already received the first TUV certificate in Nepal. TUV Nord India, a company under TUV Nord Germany, supervised the project and awarded the certificate.

The cable car has been put into commercial operation since 31st Jestha 2081 BS. The company stated that the project was targeted at children to senior citizens. “After carrying out load testing and upgrading the cable car and ensuring safety in all respects, the International Technology and Safety Quality Test Certificate (TUV Certificate) has been obtained,” said Shrestha. “The company has given priority to safety and quality and has brought the cable car into operation for the general public only after creating a completely safe environment.”

The company has stated that the famous Khadga Devi Temple in Bandipur, which is open to the public only on Maha Ashtami day of the year, can now be visited every day. A ‘drive-in’ restaurant with state-of-the-art facilities has already been brought into operation at the lower station of the cable car. Chairman Ramchandra Sharma informed that the restaurant ‘Drive In’ has been brought into operation from April 1 with the aim of providing international-level (five-star) facilities to foreign and domestic tourists.

Similarly, an attractive park with a wildlife museum, children’s zone, and 33 crore idols of gods and goddesses has been brought into operation at the lower station. The goal is to complete the construction of all the structures as per the overall Bandipur Hill Master Plan within the next two years. The project states that out of the 31 gondolas of the cable car, 21 are passenger-carrying gondolas.
