Biratnagar. Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki has said that the festival of Holi, or Phagu Purnima, will inspire Nepalis to move forward for development and prosperity by enhancing unity and harmony.
Giving a message of best wishes on the occasion of Holi today, Chief Minister Karki said that this kind of original and traditional festival of Nepalis has played an important role in increasing harmony and brotherhood among us and establishing our religion, culture and identity.
He expressed his belief that this festival, which is celebrated as a celebration of the victory of truth over falsehood, will inspire all Nepalis to walk in truth. Chief Minister Karki expressed the view that the practice of celebrating festivals with mutual harmony and unity while preserving original traditions will inspire us to realize our national aspiration of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis’.
As Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multilingual, multicultural, multi-religious and multi-identity country, unity and harmony among us Nepalis has increased, Chief Minister Karki expressed his best wishes on the occasion of the Holi festival for success in moving forward on the path of development and prosperity.
