Himalayan Riders motorcycle ride concludes, 24 passengers participate

Bharatpur. Kathmandu: Himalayan Riders has completed its motorcycle journey from Bharatpur to Chitwan. With the slogan ‘Explore Rukum’, the 769-km motorcycle ride was undertaken from May 14 to May 15.

The central college’s campus started from Bharatpur and concluded on the banks of Narayani River via Kaligandaki Corridor, Gaindakot after visiting Mugling, Pokhara, Kushma, Baglung, Galkot, Rudraveni, Burtiwang, Patihalne, Lugum, Mahatgaun, Rukumkot, Taksera and Ranimahal of Palpa.

The 24 participants took information about the historical, touristic, religious and factual situation of different places. Programme coordinator Amrit Joshi said that the motorcycle tour was undertaken to promote domestic tourism by visiting the new places.

Co-coordinator Mohan KC shared that the visit informed the participants about the geographical situation of their country and added energy to the business.

“The participants have gained knowledge of new things during the journey period,” he said, adding, “The participants are satisfied to travel to new destinations and get information about them. ‘

Coordinator Shrestha thanked all those who facilitated the yatra from different places, associations, people’s representatives, automobile entrepreneurs and said that similar support and support is expected in the coming days.

He said that the mountainous regions of Nepal, including Rukum, have immense potential for tourism, so it is necessary to promote these areas.
