Kathmandu. Himalayan Microfinance Financial Institution Limited (a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Limited) has conducted various financial literacy programs on the occasion of Global Money Week from 2081/12/04 to 2081/12/10 (17-23 March 2025).
With the aim of enhancing financial literacy and developing financial knowledge, skills and attitudes, (GMW) – 2025 has implemented a financial literacy program targeting members of the organization and especially students from all 75 branch offices located in 32 districts including the central office.
A rally was also organized using placards, banners, etc. Around 12,000 people, including 1,220 students, have benefited from the program, which is based on members affiliated with the organization, the community, and students studying in schools and colleges.
