Kathmandu. Himalayan Life Insurance has declared dividends to shareholders from the profits of the last fiscal year 2079/80. As per the decision of the company’s board of directors held on Magh 4, 14 percent bonus shares have been declared to the shareholders based on the current paid-up capital of Rs 8.2 billion 383 thousand 602.
The company has informed that the shareholders themselves will have to pay the tax on the bonus shares as per the prevailing legal provisions.
Also, the company has informed through a notice that the shareholders will receive the proposed dividend after it is approved by the regulatory body Nepal Insurance Authority and the company’s upcoming annual general meeting.
