According to him, preparations are underway to purchase the necessary software to start the health insurance service. Badal said that the municipality has allocated a budget of Rs. 500,000 for the purchase of the software. Badal said that after purchasing the software, the service will be provided by considering Kesharpur Primary Health Center as the first point within a few days.
Earlier, Patan Primary Health Center was designated as the first point for the citizens of that area. Citizens who are affiliated with health insurance will be provided with the services they receive from the first point of contact at the same place, and there is a provision that those who need to be referred should also be referred from the same place.
Badal said that 52,000 people from 29,083 families in Baitadi are affiliated with health insurance. Members affiliated with health insurance receive free treatment of up to Rs. 100,000.
