Kathmandu. The Hydrology and Meteorology Division has stated that there is currently a general effect of westerly winds in the country. The weather is partly cloudy in the Far West and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country is clear. In addition, there is fog in some places in the Terai.
According to the division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly parts of Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces this afternoon, while the rest of the country will be clear. Similarly, tonight, there will be partial cloudy in the hilly parts of the country including Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the weather will be clear in the rest of the country.
Noting that fog will prevail in the Terai region on Saturday morning, the division has requested everyone concerned to avoid it as its effects may affect daily life, health, roads and aviation.
