He expressed his belief that if the industry is operated effectively, it will create employment opportunities at the local level and help achieve economic prosperity.

Says that cooperation and coordination are necessary between the three levels of government, Raut emphasized that for this, creative and innovative programs should be taken forward. Stating that various policies have been put forward to increase the capacity of domestic production, he expressed his belief that this industry will become self-reliant and prosperous in domestic production by replacing and reducing aluminum imports in the Nepali market.

Currently, aluminum rods used in construction such as wires and cables in Nepal are being supplied through imports, said the managing director of the industry, Rohit Gupta. According to him, this industry, operated at a cost of Rs 4 billion, will reduce the import dependence of aluminum rods and will also manufacture high-quality rods within the country.

Gupta said that the consumption capacity of aluminum rods in the country is eight thousand tons, and this industry has a target of producing 20 thousand tons. He informed that the target has been set to export rods to Nepal, India and third countries.
