Kathmandu. The government has reconstituted the governor’s appointment committee. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday evening. Posh Raj Pandey has been appointed as a member.
Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel is the coordinator of the reconstituted committee. Similarly, Maha Prasad Adhikari is the former governor.
The government is making the appointment of the governor controversial. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli have failed to reach a consensus.
