Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmaker Buddhiman Tamang has said the government should provide medical treatment to those injured in the pro-monarchy movement. Stating that the government had suppressed and injured them during the movement for the restoration of monarchy, he demanded that the government should provide medical treatment to those injured during the agitation.

Speaking at a meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee on Wednesday, he demanded an explanation from the government saying that the security provided by him from the day before the movement for the restoration of the monarchy has been withdrawn.

Tamang said, “The Government of Nepal had deployed security personnel for security before we started this agitation. It has been withdrawn completely. Regular facilities have also been taken away. They were injured during the protest. Someone’s hand is broken. The head is broken. They should be provided medical treatment by the government. ’

Tamang objected to the government’s repression of the leaders during the pro-monarchy movement.
