Kathmandu. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey has said that the government should give high priority to the construction of Nijgadh Airport. Addressing the public launch ceremony of the Concern Mirror on Monday, he said this.
Says that Nijgadh Airport is an airport of great importance and if Nijgadh Airport is built, it will be a place that can be shown to the world. He said that there are various obstacles to the construction of Nijgadh Airport and that the airport should be built according to the master plan.
He mentioned that the Fast Track will not be complete without the construction of Nijgadh Airport. He said that although Nepal’s leaders have the ambition, it is difficult to fulfill it. He said that the vision of building 10 smart cities on the Mid-Hill Highway has reached 54 so far, but it is difficult to complete it. Minister Pandey informed that a balance should be struck between development and protection of archaeology and forest areas.
