Kathmandu. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka has said that there is a competition among employees to establish themselves by doing things rather than by advertising. Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Thursday, Minister Khadka said that there is a competition among employees to establish themselves by staying above the law.

He also urged them to compete to establish themselves by doing things rather than by advertising and media. He also warned that if employees try to establish themselves by going above the law and the constitution, the government will rein them in and bring them to the right place. He also drew everyone’s attention to working within dignity and discipline.

He said that the government is working with the goal of increasing the installed capacity to 28,500 megawatts and electricity consumption to 1,500 units per year by 2035. He said that the government is moving forward with the goal of providing access to electricity to 100 percent of the country’s households within the next two years. He mentioned that arrangements have been made to provide a 50 percent discount per month to ensure that the poor and disadvantaged groups do not lose access to electricity due to their inability to pay the tariff.
