Kathmandu. In the National Assembly, CPN-AMOL MP Sumitra BC has urged people not to doubt the government. Speaking in the National Assembly meeting on Sunday, she said that the government is working in favor of the people.
She said that many issues have been raised about the ordinance and that the government should not be questioned about bringing the ordinance before the beginning of the parliament or immediately after the end of the parliament.
She said that the constitution has provided a provision for the government to bring the ordinance at any time when necessary and that the government will work in favor of the oppressed and suffering people.
She said, “Many issues have been raised about the ordinance. There have been issues about whether to bring it at the beginning or after the end.” According to Article 114 of the Constitution, the Constitution has given the government the right to bring ordinances. The ordinances brought by the government using that right as per the need will be in favor of the people. I urge you not to doubt this. This is a government that came from the sacrifice of martyrs. It will work in favor of the oppressed and suffering people. I urge you not to doubt this government.’
She said that laws made through bills or ordinances should be in favor of the people.
