Kathmandu. Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Poudel has said that the government is serious about providing more facilities to citizens in the treatment sector.
He said this while addressing a program organized in Kathmandu on Tuesday. He said that the government is working on how to provide health services to all citizens.
He mentioned that if someone signs under health insurance that he has received treatment without treatment, he should be punished.
He said that if someone takes payment for treatment without treatment, his affiliation will be canceled, saying, “The government is serious about how to provide more facilities to citizens in the treatment sector. The honorable Prime Minister who leads the government is serious. We are thinking and debating how to provide health services to citizens. We are lobbying. This will bring positive results. If someone signs that they have received treatment without treatment, they should be punished. If someone claims that they have received treatment without treatment and takes payment, their relationship should be terminated.’
Minister Poudel said that the government is placing more emphasis on how to fulfill the state’s obligation to provide health services to citizens even in remote areas.
