Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari has pledged that the government would always cooperate positively with the private sector to strengthen nepal’s national economy.
Addressing the 68th annual general meeting of Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Biratnagar, an industrial hub of Nepal, here today, he said, “The government will always cooperate positively with the active participation of the private sector to strengthen the national economy.” ’
Minister Bhandari said that the government’s policy is to further strengthen the partnership with industrialists to take Nepal to a new era of industrial production and export. At the same time, he said that priority would be given to legal, structural and procedural reforms directly related to the industrial sector.
He also appreciated the role played by a prestigious organization like Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a bridge between the state and the private sector by making a strong representation of the industry-trade sector. Minister Bhandari said that nepal’s historic first chamber of commerce and industry is not only fulfilling commercial rights but also overall social responsibility.
