Announcing the decisions of the Council of Ministers meeting on Tuesday, Minister for Communications and Information Technology and government spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung said that the government has appealed to the public not to participate in the chaotic protests of the royalist group.
Similarly, he said that the government has decided to provide treatment to those injured during the protests in Tinkune last Friday.
He said, “The Ministry of Home Affairs has been instructed to investigate the truth and facts of the Tinkune incident and take action against the culprits and make arrangements to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.” In addition, the Government of Nepal sincerely appeals to the general public not to engage in such anarchic activities.’
Minister Gurung informed that the Ministry of Health and Population has been given the responsibility of arranging for the treatment of those injured in the incident.
